I’m usually not one to get super giddy over new restaurant openings, especially where the food doesn’t look exceptional anyway, but this one is exciting!

I love the aquarium, and there’s a brand new restaurant that recently opened that’s a combination of dining, play area for kids, and an aquarium all in one.

The newly opened OMGSea Aquarium has been all over Douyin recently with its two-person set menu for RMB 278, but what really attracted me to this place is its decor. It’s designed with tables right next to the tanks so you feel like you’re dining in an aquarium.

Pro Tip

Not all the tables are located next to the tanks, so it’s best to ask the restaurant to reserve you one specifically if you’ve got your heart set on watching fish swim around while you eat.

Imagine your kids playing while sharks and other fish swim overhead. How cool is that!?

Aside from the dining and play areas, the restaurant has also built an aquarium section for kids (and grown ups) to learn about marine life.
